Everingham Park is rural and remote: limited signal, more sheep than people. Do book accommodation in advance. Uber does technically work in Everingham, but should not be gambled on, 5 pints deep, tie-on-head at midnight. Here are some great places to stay and—aye up lad—some reliable Yorkshire taxi companies.

By Air
The nearest airports are Leeds Bradford (LBA), about an hour's drive, and Manchester (MAN), about two hours. Manchester is the best bet for long-haul flights. From either, the easiest onward route is to train it to York and taxi the last stretch. Car hire also good.
By Train
York is your nearest major station and city — roughly 15 miles from Everingham and well connected to London King's Cross (2 hours), Edinburgh, Leeds, and most of the country. You'll need a taxi or a lift from York to the venue. Howden Station is the closest station and is a 20 minute taxi to Everingham. However, Howden is not well connected like York.
By Car
There is parking on site at Everingham Park. If coming from York, take the A1079 and follow signs toward Pocklington — from there it's a short hop south through the lanes. Look for balloons.
If coming from East Yorkshire, you bloody well know the way!

- Vibe: Highly-rated, independent hotel with large, clean rooms. It’s very practical and offers the easiest road access for those driving in.

The Londesborough Arms (Market Weighton)
- Distance: ~10 mins drive.
- Vibe: A traditional 18th-century coaching inn in the heart of the local market town. Great for guests who want a classic, no-fuss stay with a local pub atmosphere.

The Kilnwick Percy Resort & Golf Club (The KP)

For those of you flying in from foreign lands, Joe recommends staying in York — why not make a long weekend of it?
Joe and Sophie had loads of early dates in York (walks on the river, chilling in Rowntree Park, halloumi kebabs at midnight), so it's a special city for our love story. Lots of hotels and accomm available and a 40 minute taxi to Everingham.
